identifying with …

Many identities of self,
are based on FEAR.

Self fears
that it is
not
doing,
having,
being,
enough.

I feel the supposed judgement of the other identities around me.

Afraid of being called
lazy,
poor,
useless,
stupid.

Next,
doing becomes a ‘very creative’ job,
a ‘fulfilling’ hobby,
‘exotic’
travel
and lots of ‘kicks’ one has to experience ‘once in a lifetime’ …

having … that ‘hacienda’ on FarmVanilla
and being becomes a ‘peppered’ CV on Linked-None
and a ‘status’ on Face-boast-Book, a certificate printed on ‘expensive’ paper, lost inside a cheap frame

However,
what would happen
if I’d identify
simply with

LOVE

  1. What others think of us really does not affect one; it only affects one’s mind. What matters is only what we are and not what others think we are: it is a matter of self worth – emotional independence or, as I have called it, emotional self-sufficiency.
