Golden Flow

click the ‘thumbnails’, to enlarge …

Flow is not inspiration itself
Flow is not creativity itself
Inspiration is not creativity
Inspiration can awaken
creative thought and action

Flow combines action
and creative thought
in a seamless way

Flow is not action,
neither is it thought
Flow is being in the zone,

In the Zone,
it seems as if
there is only consciousness,
consciousness mobilizes
in a way without resistance,
rolling like a wave,
a wave that is
nothing but water,
but at the same time
much more
than water alone …

  1. Beautiful thoughts and images! I think of flow as being open as a mere vessel, an instrument, for some deeper voice inside that comes out of its own accord but only if we are open or in the flow. Such a great feeling. Way up there, a close second to love.

    • When the action is very difficult, there is no flow. I was facing a wall this afternoon — blocking any creativity. My dog gets angry when she doesn’t dare to jump, then she uses that energy to jump.
This ‘angry’ method didn’t work today for me. (sometimes does ๐Ÿ™‚ ) Taking distance finally worked, and I saw a work around. Then flow came back ๐Ÿ™‚ Yes it is a great feeling!

  2. nouns and verbs … it’s as if our body cells line up behind one or the other. I think the nouns usually have the longest line behind them. It’s easier to observe a noun than be a verb.

  3. Good point. Consciousness does mobilize thought, action, and creativity. The trick is to recognize when consciousness is the initiator, and when our ego is the one compelling us to action.
