  1. Bert, I have a cannon XL20 power shot.. I don’t much like it for macro photography. Although i do have some nice macro photos from other years of flowers. I find the camera macro setting works better inside.. Thanks for posting photos because it is that time of year when we think of flowers and how best to capture them. 🙂 – Yours photos today, have been a “seasonal nudge” to get going…

    The snowdrops will be in bloom soon. They are a nice subject… eve :).

    • The advantage of pocket cameras is that you can always have them with you. Heavy gear gives much better quality. I used to have a Nikon reflex with many lenses for 35mm film, but that is very useless in the digital age. ..

      We haven’t seen any winter here this year, and I discover many tiny flowers, who can stand a little frost …

      I already snapped some snowdrops, 3 weeks ago, but the light was bad, and I cannot post them 🙂
