Reflections and the Present moment

There is only one moment, the Present. There is only one place, Here. Mind cannot know more than this moment.

Reflections are only reflections. Reflections are coloured by the eye of the experiencer, coloured by the interpreting mind and filled in by a failing memory.  Reflections can make us feel stronger or weaker, but they don’t change the situation we are in.

We choose every moment what we are doing. That choice does not belong to the past. Those who cling to reflections too much, don’t live now. They cling to guilt or unfulfilled desires, and they cling to four more words: “If I would have…”
